About the Exhibition

From 11 to 22 March 2026, Maryam Rostampour presents the work she developed during her artist-in-residence period at ARE Holland in Enschede.

In this project, Maryam explores how people from different backgrounds and nationalities encounter one another in everyday life. She searched for genuine, spontaneous moments of connection within the city: neighbours greeting each other, people gathering in parks, meetings at markets, and other places where cultures naturally intersect.
