Students from the 'Creative Media & Game Technologies' at Saxion have been working in groups to create games in collaboration with the upcoming edition of The Overkill Festival. The theme for the festival that inspired the games is 'RADICAL - JOY - RESISTANCE'. You are welcome to join, play the games, and provide feedback.

The students have created three different games.

"Ilvy Bloom in winter " is a detective story, with alternative controller, where you need to explore different rooms to learn about the disappearance of Ilvy. Pick up the phone and look for clues.

Polichromatica is a 4 players game where you need to occupy as much space as possible using different techniques. Using colors to explore and depict different political and social views, players compete for territorial supremacy, reflecting their activist responsibilities.

Chroma Escape is a cooperative auto-runner game where you and your partner team up to guide the main character through a complex labyrinth. By collaborating and breaking free from societal constraints represented as obstacles, you aim to reach a place of greater freedom and creativity.

Practical information

The showcase will take place at the Sickhoes, the little house in the back of the Rijksmuseum Twenthe. On Friday the showcase will be open from 18.00 to 22.30. Entrance will be free. Make sure to enter through the backside (De Vluchtestraat 5).

On Saturday and Sunday the showcase is open from 10.00 to 17.00. You'll enter through the Rijksmuseum Twenthe and regular museum fees apply.
