“Watch it evolve”
We started a little garden! Not as one would wish but with what we’ve got! Some quarantine time, a bit of sunlight, soil, seeds, a bit of knowledge, a lot of helping hands with hope, enthusiasm and patience! Watch how it evolves, maybe it grows or does not! Doesn’t matter! Let’s just try! Maybe you also give it a go, put your fingers in the soil, make your own in pots, at home! And share your seedlings, if you are that far!

Signs
For Quinta Bies, the smart lock down was something she very much liked! It created time and silence to do what she likes to do the most. “Nothing special, just following the hands. I found cartons in a container and I started to make some international signs for Tankstation! Gewoon, omdat ik het leuk vond om te doen. “

What was first : the word or the image.
Poet and artist Stefanie van Tuinen is from Enschede. She uses both media to express her experiences.
In her works of art she is often looking for the contrast between the inner and outer world of herself and her surroundings.
Mostly she will leave her public behind with a stilled smile, distressing feelings or even both.
Working in an involvement from a distance, one of the titel’s of her works says :
